+
+CPP is redefined if a cpp binary (/lib/cpp) is found on the host.
+
+Use the CPP="${CC} -E" allows to pass the following checks:
+Check if we can use asm code (for -DASMV)
+Check if compiler generates underlines (for -DASM_CRC)
+
